At half-time during Bristol Rovers’ match on April 21st, Sunderland fan Brian will meet Rovers supporter Craig Warren, the man who helped save his life in 2020.

Back in March 2020, Brian was walking to The Memorial Stadium when he collapsed after feeling unwell. Craig, who was also heading to the match, saw what happened and acted quickly. He put Brian in the recovery position and called for an ambulance, staying with him until an off-duty doctor arrived and took over.

Remembering the incident Craig said “I was walking towards The Mem when the fan collapsed in front of me. I put him in the recovery position and called for an ambulance. I stayed on the phone until they arrived. A passing off-duty doctor stopped and helped. I’m really glad the Sunderland supporter was ok.”

Brian was taken to hospital, where he was diagnosed with atrial flutters and an AV block. He has since received further care in Doncaster and Sheffield. He said "Some lads and a doctor helped me until the ambulance came. I’m very thankful. My wife and I are coming back to Bristol for the game on April 21st, and I’m looking forward to meeting Craig and saying thank you for his quick reaction and for helping me"

Bristol Rovers and Bristol Rovers Community Trust is proud to welcome both Brian and Craig and to recognise this special moment at The Mem.

Tried tikitaka casino after hearing about it from a friend. It’s pretty user-friendly and I liked how quick the sign-up was. I’m not a hardcore gambler, so I appreciated the no deposit bonus to get started. Played some live roulette and a few slots on my phone—everything ran well. Seems like a decent spot for casual play.
