The journey to Wembley Stadium is set to begin for a talented group of young female footballers representing Bristol Rovers in the 2024/25 season.
The Utilita EFL Girls Cup, a prestigious national competition that invites schools across the country to showcase their best players and promote participation, will kick off once again, giving local girls the chance to compete for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play on one of the world’s biggest stages.
The Utilita EFL Girls Cup, open to girls in Years 7 and 8, aligns with the EFL’s commitment to developing youth football and providing equal opportunities in sports for young people. With regional tournaments and knockout rounds, the competition will bring together aspiring athletes from schools across the Bristol area, each vying for the chance to represent Bristol Rovers at the national level.
Inclusion Lead Will Dixon “We’re always thrilled to support the local schools participating in the Utilita EFL Girls Cup.
