We are thrilled to share details of our 3rd annual Community Walk.

For anyone who took part in the last walk, you will know it was a beautiful scenic walk from the Clifton Suspension Bridge with plenty of laughter, encouragement, and support, with new friends made along the way.

These walks and the sponsorship raised is vital to us at the Community Trust, and all money raised will allow us to continue some of our life changing programmes that help so many people in our community, from our next generation fans, in schools, our award winning mental health programme, and our over 65 group, to name a few. Your funds will play a huge part in making life better so please raise as much as you can. Everyone is welcome to take part regardless of how much you raise but we would ask that if you can aim to raise at least £50, it will help us help those in our community who need it most.

This year we want to make the event inclusive for more people, young and old alike as well as your 4-legged friends. Our walk is taking place on Sunday 17th November starting from 12pm, with the route being just under 5 miles and will see our walkers starting at the iconic Aerospace Museum in Filton, heading over to Catbrain, passing Brentry and Southmead before finishing at the famous blue gates we all love. On reaching the gates we invite everyone who has taken part to join us at the Bristol Civil Service Sports club where there will be a bar, hot food and the medal presentation.

We welcome as many of you as possible to sign up and walk with us, as these events are always filled with laughter, encouragement and a familiar face or two!

This year we are asking for a £5 registration fee*, as some will know, several people who signed up last year didn’t make the walk and left ourselves and the Tote End Old Boys out of pocket having covered the cost of medals. We are hoping the registration fee will prevent this happening again. The fee will also cover the cost of hot food for everyone once they finish.

Once you have registered you will be sent an email with details of how to set up a Just Giving page linked to this event.

*please note only those over 12 will need to pay the £5 registration fee, children under 12 can be added to a registration and will still get hot food.

We want to again, express our huge thanks to the Tote End Old Boys for their continued support and dedication to helping the Community Trust.
